From May 15 to October 9, 2026, the historic L’Attico Gallery by Fabio Sargentini will host Luca Padroni‘s personal exhibition entitled Natura Madre, curated by the same gallery owner, and with a critical text by the journalist and philosopher Pietro Del Soldà. The Roman artist continues his personal path of pictorial exploration with an exhibition that wants to involve the viewer by inviting him to reflect on everyone’s relationship with nature.
Luca Padroni’s exhibition is part of the series of exhibitions designed by Fabio Sargentini (going on for a few years now) that the gallery owner calls “Theater Art”. On the stage of the theater in the gallery Padroni will in fact place a large canvas with a pond from which a real (!) crocodile is watered. While in the adjacent room the artist will draw directly on the walls a forest inhabited by an elephant.
Luca Padroni, born in Rome in 1973, is a significant figure in contemporary Italian painting. His work combines personal experiences with a deep exploration of nature, the animal world and urban life. Having spent part of his youth in Africa, Padroni has developed a fascination for natural landscapes, which plays an important role in his artistic themes, especially in his most recent series “Jungle” which reflects the connection of humanity with nature.
Over the years, his style has evolved from dynamic urban landscapes, often depicting the chaotic energy of Roman streets and stations such as Termini, to more abstract explorations of nature, speed and craters. In addition to his solo and collective exhibitions in Italy and internationally, he has participated in high-profile exhibitions such as the Rome Quadrennial and the Summer Exhibition of the Royal Academy of London. His work is recognized for its emotional depth and intricate balance between realism and abstraction, often inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the narrative of his powerful and dynamic canvases.
He lives and works in Rome.
